The hive body contains the bees’ precious treasure. This is where the brood is sheltered and the provisions are stored to enable the colony to survive over winter. For these reasons, they need a flawless container. Made from Scotch pine and assembled using nailed tenon joints, this Dadant 10-frame hive body is both light and particularly robust. The ideal finish can be further enhanced with a layer of paint or linseed oil.
