This particularly practical semi-rigid plastic queen excluder prevents the queen from laying eggs in the honey super. 

This semi-rigid, light, sturdy, food grade and recyclable plastic queen excluder has plenty of benefits. Positioned between the hive body and the honey super, the holes have rounded edges which enable the bees to pass through them safely while preventing the queen from laying eggs in the honey super. This queen excluder therefore allows the bees to move around the hive freely and provides the beekeeper with top quality honey without the risk of harvesting larvae. One more very important benefit: it is easy to maintain and just needs rinsing with hot water!
