The hive can be fastened together using these fasteners so that it can be safely transported. 

Made up of 3 screws and a curved galvanised rod, this fastening can be used to bind together the bottom board and the hive body into a single block. It couldn’t be simpler to use: just screw two of the screws into the bottom board and the third into the hive body. Finally, just thread the metal rod between the screws. 

Once it is bound together, the hive is easy to transport and there is no risk of it falling apart.
