Grafting tool

A simple, handy tool for picking up young larvae with the utmost care. 

This particularly ingenious tool allows beekeepers to easily, quickly and gently pick up young larvae in the hive and transfer them to rearing cell cups. 

Made of plastic, it has a fully flexible nib which adopts a spade-like shape at the bottom of a cell and carefully extracts the larvae along with a little royal jelly. The spring at the end acts as a shock-absorber. The larva is thus carefully transferred to a pool of royal jelly.
